This weekend is the last chance to catch our all women show, SHE’S LIKE THE WIND, featuring 14 artists and spanning mediums from paintings to fiber art and ceramic sculpture and styles from realism to sci-fi, folk to surreal.

Sunday, May 31st, 3-7pm

For her series in this show, SarahGrace wanted to maintain the intuitive, emotive fluidity of her sketchbook drawings in what are otherwise carefully planned tufted works. There are 6 pieces currently on view, each capturing the raw, gestural movement of a spontaneous, hand-drawn form.

We are incredibly psyched for, proud of and impressed by Deep Space artist Elliot Lobell, who debuted his stop motion masterpiece today at the Coney Island Film Festival, a lifelong dream of his, that he made come true!!

EDWARD is a 7-minute short that Elliot worked on for 7 years. His vision and his steadfast determination to bring it to life have boggled and inspired us all. We cannot wait for the world to behold the result of his hard work. It’s so worth the long journey it took to arrive here.

Congratulations, Elliot!!!! What an achievement!!!! It’s been an honor to witness your process throughout this years-long journey. ✨✨✨

TONIGHT + TOMORROW!!!

It’s MORE MINIS Closing Weekend — we’ve got 2 closing receptions, one today (Saturday) from 7-11pm and one tomorrow (Sunday) from 5-9pm.

The gallery is FULL of hundreds of tiny artworks that we’ve continued to add in to the show since miniature season first began in December. Our artists have come thru all season with irresistible littles and this weekend is the last chance to come scoop some up.

As always, we’ll have activations throughout the weekend, including a special not-to-miss live debut performance by artist-and-poet Teague Smith () at 7pm on Sunday. His trusty steed (pup) Shark may join in if he’s feeling inspired.

All ages and four-legged friends are most welcome. Come by!!! Excellent art and great company on tap!
