"We as Q***r people have always existed in rural places, small towns, and politically conservative regions. Red is a Shade of Pink highlights the ways we, the Q***r people living in traditionally “red” and conservative places, can thrive when we create meaningful spaces for ourselves. This exhibition seeks artwork that reflects the complexity of Q***r life in these spaces."
