As we mourn the loss of our friend Dan Fordice, we cannot help but reflect on how incredibly blessed we were to have known him and to call him our friend.
Dan touched the lives of so many and truly made a lasting difference in this world. His passion for aviation, his love of history, and his unwavering dedication to honoring our veterans inspired countless people. Whether through the roar of a historic aircraft overhead or the quiet moments spent sharing stories, Dan had a remarkable way of connecting with others and leaving each person better for having known him.
It has been said that you can measure a person’s worth by the void they leave behind when they are gone. If that is true, then Dan’s worth was immeasurable. He leaves behind a tremendous void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him—especially within the aviation community and among the veterans he served so faithfully.
Sending our love and prayers to his family and loved ones, Southern Heritage Air Foundation, and all who knew him.
Blue skies and tailwinds, Dan. Until we meet again.
