Bayou Discovery's "Know Brainer" Camp's third day consisted of a bridge-building project, where students examined the impact of materials, geometric shapes, strength, and size on construction. They later applied this knowledge in an "Egg Drop" experiment, protecting their "brains" - hard-boiled eggs. The day ended with VCOM Medical students organizing a game of "Simon Says", which was a delight.

On Day 2 of the "Know Brainer" Bayou Discovery Camp, participants had an electrifying experience as they discovered the links between circuits, conductors, and the nervous system. Engaging hands-on activities such as potato clocks, light-up paper circuits, energy sticks, sheep brain dissection demonstrations, magnetism, and snow globes facilitated an immersive learning environment. Day 1 of the "Know Brainer" Bayou Discovery Camp was a fantastic success! We explored the frontal lobe, occipital lobe, and cerebellum, putting our new knowledge to the test with hands-on activities. We definitely have some deep thinkers in this year’s group!
