Our visitor's favorite attractions are our Cat® 797F Mining Truck theater, Design Your Own Machine interactive, product simulators and the opportunity to sit in several pieces of Cat equipment on our Product Floor. The Caterpillar Visitors Center is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. with the last ticket entry at 3:30 p.m.

LIVE MUSIC! FOOD TRUCKS! FREE ENTRY HOURS! It must mean SPRING at the Caterpillar Visitors Center!

The Caterpillar Visitors Center and The Peoria Riverfront Museum are proud to return as hosts of The Gerald M. Brookhart (GMB) Arts in Education Spring Celebration. Every weekday from April 21 through May 14, you can join us on the Caterpillar Visitors Center Plaza on the Peoria Riverfront to listen to live music performed by schools from across Central Illinois. Join us for lunch from one of our incredible local food trucks and a concert from 11am-1pm. You will also receive FREE ENTRY to the Caterpillar Visitors Center. SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22, NOON-5pm

Future engineers, scientists, and kids of all ages are invited to Engineering Day 2026 at the Caterpillar Visitors Center and the Peoria Riverfront Museum.

The Caterpillar Visitors Center and the Peoria Riverfront Museum will be buzzing with the added excitement of hands-on STEM activities provided by local engineering groups. These activities offer a variety of opportunities for children to spark an interest in engineering and have fun. Complete the scavenger hunt and pick a prize (while supplies last)!

Caterpillar will host a series of informational sessions highlighting careers in engineering, plus, sign up for a 1-on-1 session with a Caterpillar professional to help interested high school students with their resume and interviewing skills. Go to www.visitcaterpillar.com for more information!
