ARTISANworks is a self-funded nonprofit art space that exists without government aid. We rely on the generous support from both personal and corporate members, donations of artwork, memorabilia and collectibles, and venue rental for amazing full-service personal or corporate events. Consider hosting an event with ARTISANworks, becoming a Member, signing up for our Art Lease-to-Own program, or donating items from an estate.

Tucked away, the Bourbon Street event space — a room most guests only see during tours or private events — ended up being the perfect setting for a night of tarot readings, local makers, and all things a little mystical ✨

Thank you to the Rochester community for choosing to spend a night in May supporting local artists, small businesses, and the kind of event you won’t find everywhere.

And thank you to Madeline’s Catering for the delicious empanadas and great cash bar that kept everyone fueled throughout the evening.

Until next time 🔮

Give a worn-out favorite a second life—or discover the rewarding craft of bookbinding in this immersive, hands-on workshop with local author and maker . Perfect for beginners and creative hobbyists alike, this class will guide you through the complete process of rebinding a paperback book from start to finish using professional techniques and tools.

Whether you have a cherished novel that’s coming apart at the seams, a thrifted paperback you’d like to transform, or you simply want to learn a unique new skill, you’ll leave with practical knowledge you can continue using at home long after the workshop ends.

Throughout the session, Corwin will demonstrate each step of the rebinding process while providing individualized guidance in a relaxed and creative studio environment. From crisp and citrusy to dry and refreshing, guests will sample a variety of rosés while learning more about the style that took over patios, brunch tables, and summer gatherings for good reason.

Feel free to judge this book by its cover.

If the outside of ARTISANworks looks colorful, chaotic, weird, creative, massive, and impossible to fully take in in one visit…
that’s because it is.
