Perfect for beginners and creative hobbyists alike, this class will guide you through the complete process of rebinding a paperback book from start to finish using professional techniques and tools.
Whether you have a cherished novel that’s coming apart at the seams, a thrifted paperback you’d like to transform, or you simply want to learn a unique new skill, you’ll leave with practical knowledge you can continue using at home long after the workshop ends.
Throughout the session, Corwin will demonstrate each step of the rebinding process while providing individualized guidance in a relaxed and creative studio environment. Participants will learn how to safely remove old covers, reinforce and prepare book spines, measure and cut materials, and assemble a beautifully rebound book with durable finishing techniques.
