It’s Market Day! 🎉

We’re delighted to once again be hosting The Yard Market here at Broughty Castle.

Come along and support over 35 fantastic local traders and browse a wide range of beautiful products – you’re sure to find something you love!

The market and the Castle Museum are open from 10am to 4pm, and we’d love to see you there.

Market entry: £2 for adults, free for under 16s
Castle entry: Free for all (donations are warmly welcomed and appreciated)

The sun’s up, the stalls are setting out their goodies, and we’re ready for a full day celebrating our four‑legged friends.

🛍️ The Yard Barket – Today, 10am–4pm
Browse brilliant stalls packed with treats, toys, accessories and more for your furry companions — and enjoy dog show activities taking place throughout the day.

⚠️ A quick reminder: Dogs are very welcome in the market area, but due to the historic nature of the site, they can’t enter the Castle Courtyard.

🏰 We’re thrilled to welcome The Yard Market back to Broughty Castle this weekend — two brilliant days celebrating local makers, creativity, and our four‑legged friends. Here’s what’s happening:

🛍️ Today – The Yard Market
Over 30 talented local crafters bringing handmade treasures, tasty treats, unique gifts and more — a brilliant chance to discover something unique while supporting local talent.

🐾 Tomorrow – The Yard Barket
A full day dedicated to pet lovers. Explore stalls packed with goodies for your furry companions and enjoy a fun dog show to round things off.

⚠️ Please note: Dogs are very welcome in the market area, but due to the historic nature of the site, they cannot enter the Castle Courtyard.

🌟 Broughty Castle Museum Reopens Wednesday 1 April! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome residents and visitors back as Broughty Castle Museum opens for the 2026 summer season on Wednesday 1 April.

The museum is a must‑see attraction at the heart of the Ferry, offering a changing programme of events, activities and displays for all ages. It holds a special place in the community, loved by both locals and visitors.

The museum is FREE to visit, and while admission is free, we’re always grateful for donations that help support our work.

Whether you live locally or are discovering it for the first time, come explore the stories, views and experiences that make the castle such a unique part of the area.
