A globally significant survivor of the Age of Sail and a landmark of maritime engineering. Please note: You can purchase your tickets at the door or online. Launched in 1824 HMS Unicorn is the third oldest ship in the world still afloat and one of the six oldest ships in the world! She is Scotland’s only preserved warship and is the most completely original ship in the entire world to have survived from the golden age of sail. Now a historic ship and visitor centre, she provides the unique experience of life on board a 19th century Frigate. Come and explore all 4 decks of history aboard this historic ship and museum. This authentic and interactive experience of life on board a 46-gun frigate is a fun day out for all the family.

A little piece of HMS Unicorn now part of Dundee Stars! ⚓🏒

We loved welcoming the Dundee Stars aboard HMS Unicorn!

We were delighted to gift the team a piece of rope from the ship, which now has a new role as the award for Man of the Match at each game 👏

From Dundee’s historic waterfront to the ice, it’s lovely to see a little piece of HMS Unicorn becoming part of the Stars’ story.

GALA DAY IS COMING TO HMS UNICORN!

This Halloween, step aboard HMS Unicorn for a special day of live music, family fun and Halloween activities - all aboard one of Dundee’s most iconic historic ships.

With live performances throughout the day from:
🎵 Wighton Singers
🎵 Lynne Campbell & Group
🎵 Bridge Band
🎵 Dundee Gaelic Choir
🎵 Tayside Young Fiddlers

Plus plenty of Halloween fun for all the family… and a few surprises still to be revealed!

Just a wee advance notice that HMS Unicorn will be closed on Sunday 11th & Monday 12th October.

We’ll be back open as normal from Tuesday 13th October and look forward to welcoming you aboard! ⚓
