Clience Studio -Angela Lawrence Angela Lawrence - artist and owner of Clience Studio in Castle Douglas, South West Scotland, showing Small art gifts based on my paintings are also available!

My work ranges from representational to more abstract paintings in both oil and watercolour. There is a wide selection of paintings and prints to be seen at the gallery and online, many from my local area but also depictions of landscapes further afield as well as other themes. The price range of my originals is from £95 to £3500, and my signed archival quality prints (mounted) are from £25 to£125. As well as at Clience Studio, I exhibit in many other venues and galleries mainly in Scotland and I do affordable commissions.

Update on D&G Council works at the clocktower:
WE ARE OPEN as usual at Clience Studio -Angela Lawrence ! Along with renovations to the flat above, the council are going to repair the gallery window and frontage. Today they aim to remove the original leaded lights along the top of the display windows for specialist repair . This entails boarding up that area but we should still see through the main windows until they too are repaired from November 8th and they are boarded too. At that time we will have relocated temporarily to the Castle Douglas Library Gallery for 5 weeks (if all goes to plan...).
Your support by continuing to visit Clience Studio in the town and online is very much appreciated.

Very happy to have been selected for Visual Arts Scotland Annual Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh again. The exhibition is in January 2027. It's an amazing place and a great exhibition to go to!
