Hampton Kempton Waterworks Railway Heritage narrow-gauge railway offers a great day out with steam train rides, picnic, and play area. Snacks and drinks are available with plenty of free parking.

The fire is lit. The diesels have been started, the weather is set for a brilliant weekend.

We have both steam and diesel train rides.

Our Turner Miniature railway is in operation with a steam locomotive, and even drive a steam locomotive, this weekend only.

Model Railway and Railway Gala Weekend - 30th & 31st May, 10:00-17:00

Come and see lots of model railways in our award winning carrige shed on both days, included in your ticket price.

We also have play areas for children and our Turner Miniature railway with a steam locomotive operating, free of charge.

Refreshments also include homemade cakes, sandwiches, and even cream teas.

One ticket price means you can ride all day.

Perfect for families and enthusiasts.

We will have homemade cakes, cream teas, filled rolls, everything you will need for the whole day.

We also have play areas for children to enjoy including our large train play area and even a brio play area.

Stay all day and ride behind our Heritage Diesel Planet (10am-12pm) or our 1903 built Steam Loco 'Darent' (12pm-5pm)

There will model railways on display in our carriage shed and our Turner Miniature Railway will be running with a steam loco, 'Hampton'

Homemade cakes and other refreshments, no need to bring lunch.

Lovely day for ice creams, picnics and steam train rides at our Heritage Steam Weekend 23/24 May. Only £2.50 for kids under 3s free and £4.50 for adults. No need to book. Kempton Steam Museum next door is also open with their mighty and awesome steam pumping engine ‘in steam’. (Separate entry fee).
