Frame of the Month. ⚒️

Each month, our resident photographer and Digital Marketing Officer, Josh Heeley, shares a favourite image from the Royal Armouries.

This month’s frame captures a quieter moment from Secrets of the Forge, one of the Live Interpretation shows held on the War Gallery stage on Floor 2 for our Saxon Story Hunters half-term event.

The show explores how Anglo-Saxon tools and weapons were made and the people behind them.

Josh chose the image because it nicely captures a room quietly listening to stories more than a thousand years old.

Secrets of the Forge takes place on the War Gallery stage on Floor 2, free for all the family.
