It’s becoming a daily occurrence at this point! Really need to get some sort of coverall or something?! Any suggestions?

I’m in a bit of “artist block” with this guy, I can see a few areas I want to touch up, but on the whole I’m not sure if he’s almost done or needs more work.
So today I’m deepening the navy, as I find with a more completed background, it sometimes either pulls together or highlights what’s wrong!

Today’s been a day of varnishing paintings. This was a second coat for this one so at least I didn’t run the risk of the colour bleeding at all…which it nearly did the first time! Could have been disaster!

Getting there with the colours slowly! Definitely blaming poor paint for the lack of coverage! Also using my hand to paint with instead of a brush was a game changer, plus it brought out some inner child!
