Turning grief into something tangible is never just a process, it’s an energy.

In the studio, every step of handling ashes is done with intention, care, and deep respect. The space shifts, it becomes quiet, focused, almost sacred. Music plays a huge role, guiding the atmosphere, helping me connect not just to the piece, but to the person behind it. Certain songs bring a presence into the room, memories, emotion, a feeling that they’re still part of the creation.

This isn’t just art, it’s a collaboration between love, memory, and energy. Every piece holds a story, a life, and a connection that continues beyond loss.

Ashes to Art was born from grief, love, and the need to create meaning after loss. In 2024, after the passing of my cousin Donna, I felt a shift I couldn’t ignore. Art became more than expression, it became connection, remembrance, and transformation.

What started as a deeply personal process evolved into something I could share with others, turning ashes into powerful, lasting pieces of art that honour life, memory, and legacy. Every piece carries a story, a presence, and a way to keep loved ones close in a form that can be seen and felt every day.

This isn’t just art, it’s healing, storytelling, and a celebration of life beyond loss.
