This warm, sunny day has us getting excited for the Trick-or-Treat Parade happening Sunday, October 25 from 12–2 PM!

Come dressed up, bring the family, and get ready for an afternoon of Halloween fun downtown!

In partnership with Ann Arbor District Library leading the parade from the library. Line up starts at 11:30 at the downtown Ann Arbor District Library.

Marcy and I had such a great time with Lucy Ann Lance talking all things Frankenwalnut — just in time for Halloween!

Join Zingerman's Roadhouse for a special children’s book event featuring Frankenwalnut, a funny and heartfelt story by Ann Arbor authors Don Hicks owner of Blue LLama Jazz Club and Alex Hicks about bullying, friendship, and finding the courage to be yourself.

When Frankenwalnut discovers that being different can make you a target, he learns that standing up to bullying — and standing up for others — can be more powerful than being the biggest, loudest, or scariest monster around.

Come meet the authors, hear the story behind Frankenwalnut, and celebrate a book with an important message wrapped up in plenty of Halloween fun!

And yes… there will be spookily delicious snacks, of course!

There are plenty of spooky tricks and treats happening downtown this Halloween, but unlike our ghostly friends, our shops, restaurants, and local businesses don’t disappear when the season ends.

Come for the scares. Stay for the bites, the finds, and all the reasons to visit downtown year-round.
