The Untitled Magazine and The Untitled Space are now accepting submissions for THE “DREAM” ISSUE AND EXHIBITION—celebrating visionary contemporary artists working across all mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, installation, wearable art, digital art, video art, performance art, and experimental practices.

Presented as both a Collector’s Print + Digital Edition and curated exhibition at The Untitled Space gallery in Tribeca, New York, THE “DREAM” ISSUE + EXHIBITION invites contemporary artists to submit artwork inspired by the theme of dreams—from subconscious inner worlds, surrealism, dream states, memory, and symbolism, to visionary futures, transformation, manifestation, utopian visions, and imagined realities.

The issue and exhibition is an invitation to surrender to the imagination and the spectacular inner life that artists access when they dare to dream beyond reality. Dreams are where the most radical new visions are born. Every movement, every revolution, every masterpiece began as someone's dream.

“My art explores the interconnections between people, nature, and ancestral roots. I’m constantly experimenting and adapting my materials to the subjects I paint - from applying oil and soil to linen, to working with discarded clothing and books.” – Kate Tova

Kate Tova is a visual artist living and working in the mountains of Monterey, California, with roots in both Russia and Ukraine. She grew up in the industrial town of Balakovo, Russia, where her passion for art began in childhood before later transitioning to painting professionally after relocating to the United States. Tova completed an artist residency at the School of Visual Arts in New York and has exhibited at institutions including the Oceanside Museum of Art and the Monterey Museum of Art.

Tova’s recent body of work reflects her ongoing experimentation with material and process, adapting surfaces and mediums to the subjects she paints. Drawing inspiration from Ukrainian roots, cultural memory, and the natural world, her works investigate emotional connection and resilience through layered approaches to painting and assemblage. Across her practice, flowers and organic forms become symbols of transformation, renewal, and shared human experience.

"Working across sculpture, installation, and large-scale painting, I examine cycles of growth, decay, rest, and renewal as a way of reflecting on how we inhabit space and how space, in turn, shapes us." - Natalie Wood

is an interdisciplinary artist based in the Bronx, New York City. Working across sculpture, installation, painting, and collage, Wood explores nature, memory, ecology, and the built environment through living and organic materials including moss, native plants, flowers, found objects, cast forms, and digital imagery. Recent highlights include her solo exhibition Nesting at Sugar Hill Museum, installations at Wave Hill and New York Botanical Garden, and exhibitions at The Bronx Museum of the Arts and The Andrew Freedman Home. She is a 2025 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow and a 2025–26 Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program resident, with press in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue Italia, and FLAUNT Magazine.

Wood’s practice often examines the relationship between ecological systems and human intervention, combining preserved natural materials with sculptural forms and collected objects. Her works function as environments and artifacts simultaneously, reflecting themes of transformation, fragility, and care. Through layered assemblage and material experimentation, she considers how memory and the natural world become embedded within physical space.

"The Weeping Rose is a series of photographs exploring the aesthetics of grief and the ways in which it's packaged and sold back to us. The series is named after one of the most successful commercial art prints, 'The Weeping Rose' by Vladimir Tretchikoff. The series as a whole is made up of photographs of roses, portraits of women crying, statues and swans—images often associated with loss and beauty frozen in time." — Logan White

Born and raised in the Deep American South, is a photographer whose work explores the psychological intensity of girlhood through a distinctly Southern Gothic lens. Based in New York, White studied photography and visual storytelling at Parsons School of Design in New York, Prague, and Florence, and completed the European Honors Program in Rome, Italy. Her photographs have been exhibited internationally at institutions including The Hole and Nicelle Beauchene Gallery in New York, Purple Gallery in Tokyo, and the Photo Vogue Festival in Milan. White was named Photographer of the Year at the 2024 1839 Photography Awards and received the Juror’s Prize in the 2024 LensCulture Portrait Awards.

White’s practice investigates memory, longing, beauty, and emotional vulnerability through photography that often draws from literary and cinematic traditions of the American South. Featured in In Full Bloom, this work belongs to an ongoing exploration of grief and the ways visual symbols become intertwined with collective ideas of loss, remembrance, and desire. The artist approaches these themes through a broader examination of how emotion is represented, preserved, and culturally understood.

Tabitha Whitley is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, and printmaking. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Whitley earned her BFA in Painting from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2009 and her MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art in 2011, where she later served as President of the Alumni Association and on the Board of Trustees. Her work explores themes of identity, heritage, and interconnectedness with nature, often using vivid color as a vehicle for emotional and symbolic expression. Whitley’s work has been exhibited widely, including at the Springfield Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum, and has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian.

Presented in In Full Bloom, Whitley’s paintings reflect her ongoing exploration of personal and universal narratives through nature and symbolism. Across these works, she considers the connections between human experience, memory, and the natural world, creating imagery that bridges inner reflection with broader ideas of growth, transformation, and belonging. Her practice embraces painting as a space for storytelling, where identity and environment become deeply intertwined.

Indira Cesarine is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans photography, video, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Based in Tribeca, New York, her work explores feminist narratives, identity, power, and cultural memory through both traditional and new media. A graduate of Columbia University with additional studies at Parsons School of Design, the School of Visual Arts, and the New York Academy of Art, Cesarine has exhibited internationally at institutions and venues including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Hudson Valley MOCA, Mattatuck Museum, the Museum of Women in the Arts, and The Watermill Center. Her artwork and exhibitions have been featured in publications including The New York Times, Vogue, Forbes, Newsweek, W Magazine, and Harper’s Bazaar among many others.

These paintings are part of Cesarine’s ongoing exploration of nature as both metaphor and emotional landscape. Across her multidisciplinary practice, she examines themes of resilience, transformation, femininity, and healing, often drawing connections between personal experience and collective empowerment. Her floral works extend that dialogue through organic forms that reference cycles of growth, vulnerability, and renewal while reflecting her interest in the intersection of beauty and strength.

“I often find myself returning to the visual language of flowers – as a representation of women’s sexuality, as well as emotional expression of love, forgiveness, sorrow, and hope. Throughout history, flowers have been ripe with symbolism, with each blossom or arrangement having different meanings. The language of flowers dates back many centuries, and they were often used to send secret messages to lovers. For me the flower can be alluring, mysterious, sensual and full of emotions that are difficult to express with words.” – Indira Cesarine

THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION explores the limitless possibilities of the imagination—from dream states, memory, fantasy, symbolism, and the subconscious to transformation, manifestation, visionary futures, and imagined realities.

Dreams are where the most radical new visions are born. Every movement, every revolution, every masterpiece began as someone's dream. What visions are you dreaming into existence?

Open to artists worldwide. All ages, genders, and visual art mediums will be considered.

The non-refundable submission fee helps support the curatorial review process, production, artist promotion, and administrative expenses associated with producing THE "DREAM" ISSUE + EXHIBITION. A portion of proceeds additionally supports Art4Equality, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to advancing equality through art, exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives.
