September is going to be a belter at the Govan Stones with both archaeological excavations and living-history madness - courtesy of the return of the incredible 10th-century specialists Cumbraland to Govan!

We're conducting excavations between 8-20th of September, learning about Bishops, Butter and B**r Cellars on Saturday 12th, and our long-awaited Mini Viking-Age Festival will take place over the 2 days of 19th-20th of September, which is also Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival.

🎟 🛡 The Viking Festival is completely free!

🎟 🔗 Stephen's talk is also free, but tickets need to be booked via Eventbrite on the link in the comments.
