Traction engines are back at our Vintage Transport Extravaganza on 8-9 August 😎

We're very excited to see these engines back at the SVR, as well as return of the much-loved road run up the hill in front of the station. And best of all, there should be 15 engines on display!

We're pleased to announce that our second guest locomotive for the Summer Gala is Neilson & Co No 2937. 🙂🚂

This fascinating industrial steam locomotive has a rich heritage stretching back to the Victorian era. We’re grateful to Keith Sergeant and the Chasewater Railway for the loan of the locomotive.

🎟️ The Summer Gala is on 18 - 19 July and tickets are on sale at: https://svr.co.uk/specialevents/summer-gala/
