The Raleigh Chopper (and its smaller sibling, the Tomahawk) were responsible for some bad tumbles, England, 1970s.

The Chopper’s short front wheelbase and high center of gravity made it unstable at speed, especially during sharp turns or sudden stops. They would constantly pop a wheelie and the front wheels would wobble at the worst moments. This instability led to countless over-the-handlebar accidents and a fair share of missing or chipped front teeth.
