Does the Ferrari 360 Spider represent Ferrari’s best era?

The aluminium bodywork and chassis delivered the low-slung stance of a supercar, with a steeply raked windscreen and the open cockpit of a true convertible.

Aimed at drivers who wanted a taste of F1 tech on the road, the 360 came with a six-speed manual or - like this car - a F1-based electro-hydraulic semi-automatic gearbox.

We had the pleasure of welcoming HubNut to the Museum to see our newly restored Aston Martin DB4 by Haynes Heritage Engineering, which will be part of the running vehicle display at the John Haynes Classic Motor Show on Sunday 6 September.
