A new 100-foot mural by artist brings the history and breakthroughs of pharmacy to life in the University of Michigan’s new College of Pharmacy building.

The mixed-media work offers an exploration of the field, composed of warm earth tones inspired by past issues of InterActions, the college’s former publication, alongside archival images displayed on small canvases throughout the mural.

“I am sort of being a magnifying glass for things that they’ve already done, quite literally with a magnifying glass,” Rutt said.
