Be sure to check out our latest exhibition, Susan Falkman's From Italy to Milwaukee in the Dake Gallery!

Susan Falkman creates carved, scored, and smoothed marble sculptures using ancient hand carving techniques and power tools. Much of her work appears fluid, defying the rigidity of stone. Don't miss out on seeing her beautiful work! This exhibit will run until January 3rd, 2027!

Tomorrow, we will be welcoming author Kenneth Dahlin to discuss his most recent book, Frank Lloyd Wright and the Path to Beauty! Dahlin considers what the recovery of beauty could mean for the buildings and places we inhabit now. Join us to hear more about his writing, a Q&A, and a book signing!

Two exciting events are happening at Villa Terrace this week! 🌿📚

Join us Wednesday, May 13 for our final Garden Lecture of the season, Everything Water, featuring a representative from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District.

Then on Thursday, May 14, enjoy a special book talk with architect and author Kenneth Dahlin (PhD, AIA) on Frank Lloyd Wright and the Path to Beauty- an inspiring discussion on harmony, architecture, and the experience of space.

Our Garden lecture, Everything Water, on Wednesday, May 13th, concludes our spring garden workshop and lecture series for the year. We welcome a representative from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District to discuss Everything Water! Join us to learn about the water reclamation process, water quality protection through the Deep Tunnel and the conveyance system, and a variety of flood management and green infrastructure initiatives that protect public health!

Such a beautiful afternoon for a mahjong lesson at the Villa! We love collaborating with local organizations, and this event's partner was the March of Dimes.
