I spend a lot of time sourcing and selecting the material; whether it’s a fallen tree or a boulder that was shaped by time and natural elements. They, in a sense, are already perfect when I find them. I just bring out their essence with quiet marks and a subtle, yet difficult, gestures.” - Ethan Stebbins
